Really great comforters. Great weight (not too heavy or light), super cozy. There’s a light odor because of the materials it is made with (unprocessed) but just air it out for a full day and you’re all set. We bought 2 for our kids, but when the time comes we’ll be buying one for us too.

Comforter for the Family Bed!
This comforter was recommended to us by the guy who sold us our bed at The Nest in San Francisco. It was pretty expensive at the store, so I put it on my Amazon wish list and hubby did what he is supposed to do at Christmastime 😉
Here is what I can say from our experience so far:
1. It feels big enough for me, my husband, and co-sleeping one-year-old to sleep under without being too heavy.
2. The temperature regulation is much better than what I have experienced with down and synthetic comforters. My husband sleeps hot and he has not complained about being overly warm.
3. Mine does have a smell. We joked about how our bedroom smelled after we put the comforter on the bed, but none of us minded. Open a window, people, and enjoy how things that are made from natural materials smell. I would much rather smell sheep than plastic any day.
I love the comforter and will be buying more of them for my kids. That should speak volumes about the quality.

I love myComforter! Absolutely amazing! I got this comforter after researching all of the different types of duvets out there, thinking I would love to get my first down comforter, but after reading up on this as a natural alternative, wool came out ahead by a long long way. I’ve had this for a few days now and I absolutely love it! It feels luxurious with a nice weight, and is very well made. The bottom line, though, is that I no longer sweat in my sleep and that’s a huge plus! The fiber warms to your body temperature quickly, and breathes to keep you “just right”. Quality item, heavy & warm – consider what is most important to you when deciding if this right.
First off this is a quality item there is no question. I’ve owned this for more than a year and have just recently switched back to down, here is why. This comforter is warm, often too warm if you keep your house in the high 50s low 60s at night even in the winter. Its also heavy more than 9 lbs so you should consider that if buying – do you mind a heavier blanket? Personally I don’t but my partner did. Having just switched back to down, it does feel like a weight has been lifted – the down is more than 3 lbs lighter.
If you need a warm blanket – very warm this comforter is an excellent choice. If you like a heavier blanket its an excellent choice. If having natural materials in bed instead of synthetics is important to you this is an excellent choice. My biggest suggestion to you if your considering this blanket is factor in the weight/warmth issue – that will determine if this is the right fit for you.

I live in Minnesota and I love a nice warm blanket. Up to this point I’ve always leaned towards down comforters but this time I decided to try wool and I have to say I have been very happy with my choice! I warm up quickly when I first lay down and I haven’t gotten too warm later on. Haven’t washed the comforter yet,
so I don’t have an opinion on that part, but if you’re looking for a nice warm comforter this is a great choice.

This is perfect for the cold New England weather. It’s warm and breathable, so I’m never overheated. I think some of these reviews must have been written about an earlier model, because the one we received is awesome. It’s very comfy and lightweight (not as lightweight as down feathers, of course, but we didn’t really want that because our child gets wrapped up in them when they turn over. With this one, it’s just heavy enough that he can turn over without that happening). It also seems to regulate temperature well, so it’s really warm when it’s cold, but also doesn’t make you sweaty or clammy. We haven’t tried washing it yet, but so far we love it.

I love this comforter. The first night my husband and I slept in it, he said, “I feel like it’s the perfect temperature.” I felt the same way. I paired it with a knit organic cotton blanket and some modal sheets. It’s lovely! I’m planning on ordering a modal duvet cover to keep it well protected to avoid having to wash it so soon. I’m okay taking it to a dry cleaner when the time comes.
