Our myProtectors are made slightly bigger (appx. 2in wider and 2in longer) than US mattress standard sizes. For a better fit, please wash myProtectors in warm water and dry on low heat and it will shrink just enough to be perfect on your mattress.
♥ Understanding the Aroma of Wool
You may experience some wool aroma when you have just opened myProtector or after the first wash.
It is not a chemical smell, rather an authentic wool smell, which assures you are receiving the true and pure wool filled product, free of harmful chemicals, toxins and synthetics. It will dissipate within few days after opening.
Washing myProtectors twice in warm water with eco-friendly scented detergent and drying on low heat will also help to eliminate the smell. Sun drying is optional and may take bit longer to dry.

Waterproof mattress covers! “I picked 3 stars, just cause these were not for me. I am super sensitive and I could feel the coolness thru the sheet. So for some it may be not even be noticeable. I say cool, like when you sleep directly on an air mattress and its not warm & cozy…The quality of these mattress pads were very nice and they did not have a weird or chemical waterproof mattress coversent. It just didn’t feel right against my body. Please check them out for yourselves….you might absolutely love them.
I do however LOVE my organic sheet set! I would give 10 stars if there was a choice…Best soft sheets ever, I’ve had it for 2 years and its still as comfy as the day I bought it. Money well spent!

Wool cotton bed protector! This is our first wool pad we have purchased. When we first got it we aired it out for couple of days before putting it on the bed. Seems cool! This protector is supposed to keep the memory foam mattress from sleeping ‘hot’. It seems to work. It is pretty quiet, no rattle. There is a slight slip sound like taffeta when sliding a limb over percale, but no discernible sound with knit or flannel sheets.

Great quality, Natural! I’m giving this mattress protector 5 stars because of it’s high quality, wool fibers, and good thickness. However, I live in south Texas where summers are hot and humid. I found that it didn’t keep me cool from humidity in the Nest bed though. If you want to insure that you cool down I would choose one of their other bed toppers with cooling technology.
